Chapeaux V Table Lamp
The Chapeaux V Table Lamp by Foscarini is a contemporary take on a traditional form, with an empire-shaped diffuser in borosilicate glass. The transparent glass base almost vanishes from view whilst supporting a luminous core and a glass diffuser that reflects light in an upward and downward direction.
The light source, specifically developed by Foscarini to provide radial light, is housed in an opal polycarbonate shell, creating the luminous core of the lamp. A small rod in brushed aluminium positioned at the top of the luminous ampoule is the touch dimmer to control the light. The light intensity can be set at three different levels, combined with an on-off control switch. The lamp’s memory conserves the latest dimmer setting when activated by a wall-switch. The transparent electrical cord softly flows through the stem and emerges from the luminous volume thanks to a special opening. White transformer on the plug.
