The Intervallo Wall Light by Foscarini was born from a research project on light and ceramics entitled “Battiti”. At the heart of the concept is a light source, seemingly at one with the ceramic material. Positioned at the sides of a ceramic bas-relief, the emitted light creates forms and patterns on the surrounding wall, reinterpreting a familiar icon from religious tradition. A sculpture that tells a thousand tales, becomes a light source, seamlessly mounted to any wall.
