This classic kettle was designed by Michael Graves in 1985 and has been mass produced by Alessi ever since. It is now one of their most iconic designs with its whistling bird which gently sounds when the water reaches boiling point. Graves' design is said to have been influenced by the Pop Art trend as well as the playful aesthetic of cartoons.
